On the water side Restaurants and Decks look out into the skyline and the river. Upper Decks of The Floatel are accessed by an old grand teak staircase as well as a special elevator. We are special in many different ways
Forty Six Guest rooms with state-of-the-art facilities (including round-the-clock internet access in all rooms) and world-class amenities which business travelers and tourists expect of a global hotel. Every room has a breadth-taking view of the river and the city because you are on the river.
The Restaurants are located on the top floor (The Top Deck) where there is a 24 hours multi-cuisine Coffee Shop ("The Bridge") and the specialty Restaurant ("The Compass Room") with access to "The Bridge Deck" and "The Quarter Deck" where guests dine in candle light, under the stars, on the river. Watching the sunset from the Top Deck of The Floatel is an experience not to be missed.
Three Open-Air Banquet Areas literally next to the river provide a wonderful location for a variety of events. It recreates a feeling not unlike having the banks of the Thames or The Seine for your private function.
Two large Indoor Banquet Areas allow for official functions and corporate meetings events while being within a resort like setting with scenic views, river walks and dinner under the stars.
The Floatel also provides A High-Tech Business Center surrounded by glass windows looking onto the river Hooghly- (sure beats any concrete skyscraper!)
