Eco Friendly Practices at Floatel
- Water Conservation & Preservation
- We have reduced the consumption of water by limiting the flow to 6 litres per flush
- Aerators & flow restrictors are used to reduce the flow of water
- Laundry bags are made of jute
- Jute folders used for stationary & service directory for guest
- We recycle the solid garbage produced by vermicompostingwe are able to recycle 15 kg of solid waste daily
- We use 4 bin method in kitchen for segregation of garbage
- Green Bin for recycled material
- White Bin: for dry garbage- tin, bottle, juice bottle
- Black Bin: Wet garbage
- Red Bin: for non recyclable garbage.
- We have specially prepared ‘Save our Planet’ tent cards in the rooms where we share our concern with the guests regarding eco-facts
- We have a green team who are responsible to educate- the internal customers (team members), external customers (the guests) and the community.
- We also conduct eco-audits in each departments and surprise checks, conducted in each department to see what in actual is being practiced in the respective departments.
